Jackson. The boy Ava thought she'd spend the rest of her life with. He's back from the dead, as proof that love truly knows no bounds.

My Review
I Heart You, You Haunt Me captures the difficulty of letting go of someone you loved who passed away. In reading this book I was able to appreciate the way Ava grew as a character. It can be difficult to capture the progression of acceptance a person goes through when someone they love passes away. Ava seemed to go through every step in a way that any normal person would. Even though this book has paranormal elements, with Jackson's ghost, it still seemed like a story that could happen to anyone.

Lisa's writing style is so fluid; the words flow off the page. Without reading any obvious physical descriptions you can imagine each character, and every event that is taking place. I appreciate the poetic elements in this story. It seemed to fall more along the lines of free verse, but the poetry still had some unity to it. The author's word choice also helped evoke certain feelings that went along with the story line. This was a well written story, with well used poetry elements to it.

There were many moments in this book where I wanted to just break down and cry (okay maybe I did cry a few times). The story is so emotional, it moves you, and it causes your heart to hurt severely for Ava and Jackson's relationship.

The ending of the book was very powerful; it helped give a good message overall. Even if it may seem hard, there are times when you have to let go and move on. This book just blew me away. I want to thank Cici's Theories for hosting the giveaway, and for sharing this novel with me. I will definitely be adding Far From You and The Day Before to my must have list.

If you are looking for a quick, but emotionally packed story, you will want to pick this one up. This is one of those books that you will want to read in one sitting.
