The one room I had almost forgotten (thank goodness I didn't) was the outside patio! When making over a house, it can be easy to forget that one space outside. When it's a hot spring day, and the house is packed there is no better place to move your guests than to the patio. Shopping for backyard accessories and patio furniture can be a very difficult task. There are so many different types of furniture; it can be hard to decide which is the best for your home.
 When we were looking for furniture, I decided our house would be best suited with outdoor chaise lounge chairs. I love to read, and sometimes would prefer to read out on my patio than inside. Chaise lounge chairs are extremely comfortable and allow you to lay fully extended. Not only are they comfortable, but they can also offer an elegant look to your backyard. There are also many different chaise lounge chairs that are suited for an office. Another thing to remember when decorating an outside patio is to always have living plants back there. Some backyards are cement only, or like mine, are small for apartments. To liven our patio up, we bought a mini palm tree, and also some beautiful potted plants. Living plants help the patio feel homey, and also feel like you're surrounded by nature's beauty (even if it isn't growing there naturally). I also love decorating with votive candle holders. In the end, I was very glad we decorated our patio; we ended up having many of our guests stepping out for air, or to look at the new furniture. **Disclosure: This is a sponsored post.**
