Tell us a bit about yourself I am first and foremost a mom of three, a happy wife, and someone who likes to make stuff. I love the feeling of making something that didn’t exist before. I opened my store so that I could channel my creativity into something with positive energy after having to deal with some of life’s bumpy roads. UUPP, (Unique Uplifting Positive Prints) is full of messages about things I love most; family, friends, faith, staying positive, good food ( I am a serious Julia Child fan) and my devotion to all things Jane Austen, (especially Mr. Darcy). What inspires you? I love looking at vintage patterns and color palettes. I love the idea of mixing the old with fresh new design. I am also really inspired by
What’s the best thing about where you live? Definitely it is the nature around me. I live right next to a 150 acre
What’s on your playlist? Any favorite songs you listen to over and over? I love Artie Shaw, Ella Fitzgerald and lots and lots of Frank Sinatra. And when you mix Frank with my favorite beverage (coffee), you get a delightful song called "The Coffee Song". I also can’t get enough of Joao Gilberto and Stan Getz’s song, "The Girl From Ipanema".
