Still, Still, Still Video

Libera performed on the UK Songs of Praise TV show tonight. (Why can't we have shows like that in the US?) Anyway, they've given us another Christmas carol video! It's a shortened version of "Still, Still, Still." Ralph's not there so we don't get his awesome solo. Guess you'll have to buy the CD to get that. ;) It's a beautiful song!

It's weird because the commercial for the SOP show showed the same church but Eoghan and Stefan in the center.

But in this video we never see them placed like this. So maybe there's another Libera video still to come! :D

The SOP web site says it was filmed in All Saints Church, Cheltenham. There are 23 boys in the video, and thank you to the camera people for getting so many great shots! The only ones who don't have close-ups are Daniel, Eoghan and Matthew Madine.

Eternal Light Music Video

Wow! That was sooner than I thought. Libera uploaded the new yet old "Eternal Light" music video filmed back in September 2010. Awesome!!! First we see Stefan and Ralph who were 12 years old at the time. Now they are big teenagers. Believe me, a year makes a difference to a teen. :) Stefan especially looks so much older now!

Then the 20 other boys are on a bridge with Stefan out in front. (I remember Fan de LoK figuring out it was Primrose Hill and even visiting the spots.) There's also scenes of the 5 boys - Josh, Ben, Stefan, Ralph and Daniel - on the hill overlooking London. And 5 boys up in the portico of a building (I'm guessing Luke, Kavana, Daniel, Freddie and Carlos?) with the other boys staggered down the steps and Stefan out front again.

I love the scene of the 5 boys from behind, robes blowing in the wind, so we can see London out in the distance. And I love how Stefan always looks so happy and satisfied while he's singing. Like he really loves this song and there's nothing he'd rather be doing. :)

"Himig Ng Pasko" Concert Video & Lyrics

Libera just released the video of their live, Manila concert performance of "Himig Ng Pasko!" This was a surprise second encore. They sing in Tagalog, and you can hear the audience's appreciative reaction to the singing of a traditional, Filipino Christmas carol. Ralph does a great job with the solo, and Isaac is so cute singing the final "and a happy Christmas to you!" Awwww. :D

Song of Life Full Music Video!

The full "Song of Life" video was released today! It's so beautiful, and Ralph did a really great job! It's so cool that the way he sounds and moves while he's singing is exactly the way he sings it live. I like that part of it was filmed outside, too. Thank you, Libera! Thank you, Ralph! :)

Ben in O Sanctissima on SOP

In the middle of a cold winter comes this little ray of warmth and happiness! Libera appeared on the Songs of Praise TV show today! They sang O Sanctissima which was recorded in Arundel Cathedral in October.



Well, this video is all about Ben for me. It seems that the song was shortened a little from the version on the Peace CD, possibly to make a time limit, but that's OK. First, I love the effect of Ben walking back and forth in front of the sunlight at the beginning! Now you see him, now you just see a glow. I love when the camera zooms in on him, because I love to watch his dimpled face. He always has that little hint of a grin when he sings. Like he's up to no good.  :)

It's cool how they filmed through the balcony latticework looking down on the choir below. It's also fun to see who sings what parts when you watch the video. And is it me, or is mini James starting to look so old?!

It's so cute how Ben towers over all the little guys at the front! Dylan and Cassius are just peeking around Ben's arms. Remember when he was "mini" Ben, and HE was that little guy? :)  It makes you realize how big he has gotten.

Ben has always had such an amazing voice. He's had some great solos and is such a fun and funny member of Libera. I don't know if this is his last solo or not, but the feeling you get is that the little ones are being highlighted. They'll be taking his place someday. Not sure I'm quite ready for he and the older boys to go yet, but each will when their time is right.  :'(
